Support Computer Science!
The Concordia Computer Science Program is purchasing a set of desktop GPUs to improve the performance and capabilities in our machine learning and cryptography courses. Right now, students mostly rely on their own laptop computers to process large datasets. This limits the size and feature sets that can be modelled. The goal is to improve the abilities for applications in supervised learning, artificial neural networks, and computer vision. This equipment will also support the new Data Science that will be starting next year.
